What's New at Trinity Catholic: First Day of School
It was an awesome first day of the 2020-21 academic year on August 24th here at Trinity Catholic. Students, faculty and staff came together in classrooms and online using creative learning strategies to start the year off right. Our Titan community has embraced virtual and hybrid learning and Trinity Catholic is employing all safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of our faculty, staff and students. Thank you to our Titan community for living our mission from anywhere! Click here to see more first day photos.
Student Spotlight: Arden Isbell, Class of 2021
"As I start my Senior year at Trinity Catholic, I could not be more proud of the person that I have grown to be. Trinity has influenced me greatly in areas regarding confidence, leadership, and future success. Throughout the years, Trinity has given me public speaking opportunities that taught me how to engage with different audiences. Additionally, I have been able to sharpen my leadership skills and work as a Student Ambassador to introduce prospective students to Trinity. Lastly, by taking dual enrollment courses, I have been able to apply the diligence that is required in college courses as a Junior. Overall, I will be able to apply these lessons regarding confidence, leadership, and college readiness to my future goals of entering the medical field.

I consider myself blessed to be able to attend a faith-based school. I value building a relationship with God and at Trinity Catholic, I am able to do that outside of my church and home. Through monthly Mass, yearly retreats, and other events, I can freely worship and connect to God alongside my peers. I thank Trinity Catholic for all of the opportunities given to me!"

Legacy Alumni Spotlight, Mike Sorber, Aquinas-Mercy '89
After graduating from Aquinas-Mercy in 1989, Mike Sorber made a name for himself locally and nationally. He played NCAA soccer with the Saint Louis University men's soccer team and was a 1992 Hermann Trophy finalist. Aquinas-Mercy instilled in Sorber the importance of academics, and when he finished his college playing career in 1992, Sorber continued to work on his college education and graduated in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in communications with a minor in criminal justice.

Sorber spent two years contracted to the U.S. national team and played in the 1994 World Cup. After retiring Sorber served as assistant coach for the Billikens at Saint Louis University, and was then named the Director of Soccer Operations for LAFC in 2017, where he currently leads today.

Sorber is still connected to Trinity Catholic through alumni games and reunions, and still keeps in touch with his former teammates at Aquinas-Mercy. He has also made donations to Trinity Catholic in honor of his former coach Vince Drake. “At Aquinas-Mercy a foundation was laid that helped me progress and to grow in leadership and in life. It’s equally important that those that come after us at Trinity have similar opportunities to go to Catholic school in North County. These kids will help make the world a better place.”
