Drop off your donations at Allen Temple Church on Saturday, July 17th between 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Allen Temple is partnering with Safe Families for Children in their Backpack Bonanza. The event will be at Allen Temple Church on Saturday, July 31st, at 4:00 pm and includes vendors, silent auctions, and more. Safe Families for Children is a national/international non-profit organization that walks alongside families during their times of crisis. Their goal is to build strong and resilient families by providing a circle of support for them through the works of volunteers from their church partners.

If you would like to help, please donate the following items: Backpacks, Black/Blue Pens, 24 pk. Pencils, Highlighters, Lined paper, glue sticks, pencil cases, pocket folders (Blue, Green, Yellow, Red), Pink erasers and pencil top erasers, colored pencils/crayons, scissors (blunt/pointed).

Girl's Book Club

Attention young ladies in middle and high school! Join us Saturday, August 14th to discuss the book, Dear Evan Hansen! With the year we had in 2020, we thought this would be the perfect opportunity to discuss this book that teaches us healthy ways to deal with social anxiety and depression. You can find the book at Target, Walmart, and Amazon. We hope you’ll enjoy this book and join us for a discussion on Saturday, August 14th at 12:00 pm. We plan to go and see the movie later in August as well. Invite your friends and join the discussion! Also, sign up on Goodreads.com or the Goodreads mobile app and join our community “Read w/Rev. Salesforce and iD Tech Camps ~

July 19th - August 6th 

Salesforce and iD Tech Camps are teaming up to sponsor underserved students ages 10-18 to experience the world’s top technology camp. Selected applicants will get to attend one week of Virtual Tech Camps between July 19 - August 6, 2021, learn Trailhead taught by Salesforce Volunteers and attend an Empowerment Speaker Series as part of this scholarship opportunity.

In response to the growing need for citizens of Georgia to access behavioral health support and resources during the current health crisis, the Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), in partnership with Behavioral Health Link (BHL), has implemented the GA COVID-19 Emotional Support Line. The Georgia COVID-19 Emotional Support Line provides free and confidential assistance to callers needing emotional support, community resources, or referrals to service providers in their communities.
