On Sunday, November 14th, AME churches throughout Georgia will celebrate Purple Sunday to bring awareness to dementia. To culminate this day of celebrations throughout Georgia, the Alzheimer’s Association and the African Methodist Episcopal Church will host an invitation-only event. You are cordially invited to join Purple Sunday: “Moving Ahead” on Sunday afternoon, November 14th, at 2:00 pm. The event will be held via Zoom. Special guest speakers will include 6th Episcopal District Supervisor Christy Jackson and Beverly Berry, Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Engagement, Alzheimer’s Association. Support Alzheimer’s Awareness by wearing purple during the November 14th worship service. |
