The Sixth Episcopal District Lay Organization "Virtual" Biennial will be conducted via Zoom. The SED Biennial is scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 9 am to 2 pm. The registration fee is $25.00.

Congratulations on his retirement to Woodstock Pastor Elington Bates of Mount Olive Baptist Church, our neighbor, and co-laborer in Christ.

Meet our new Presiding Elder Kimberly McMichael at the Quarterly Conference meeting on Monday, September 30th, at 7:30 PM.  All Stewards, Trustees, Stewardesses, and Ministry Leaders, should attend this meeting. Allen Temple Members are welcome and are encouraged to attend. The Elder will be confirming the Steward Board at this meeting.

There will be a church-wide clean-up on Saturday, October 19th from 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Please plan to come and help out. Everyone is welcome.

The ATC Fellowship Groups are sponsoring a Community-Wide FREE Giveaway and Hot Dog Day on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon as a service to the community. This is an opportunity to assist others by donating your gently used clothing, household goods, tools, home décor, games, books, or other items that you no longer need but others might find useful.


To participate, sign up for a table or reserve a space in the foyer. There are a limited number of church tables available, or you may bring your tables.

The Women's class will study author Keri Folmar's book "Grace". The main focus of this study is to help the reader understand what the author of Ephesians was saying to the original readers and readers today.


Sister Ann Johnson, Sister Alzena Smith, and Sister Yvonne Johnson will lead this class in person (Room 205) on Sundays, at 9:00 a.m. at Allen Temple. Class begins Sunday, September 8th.

Everyone is invited to Study with "The Primers" this fall on Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. Sis. Willie Mae Crump will lead the class in an in-depth study of Mark 7:20-23, also known as the "7 Deadly Sins".


This dial-in class begins Wednesday, September 4th at 1:00 p.m.

Join Sister Elena Patton on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. for "The Gospel-Centered Life" Bible study. Learn how the gospel shapes every aspect of your life and conduct. Explore the importance of continually applying the gospel and its impact on personal growth.
