Attention Allen Temple Parents and Students. Please save the date for this year's awesome Vacation Bible School, Monday, July 25 through Friday, July 29, 2022. This year's theme will be Food Truck Party, On a roll with God! Ready To Cook Up Some Fun? VBS Invites Children of All Ages to Get on a roll with God as A Parade of Food Trucks Rolls into Their Neighborhood for the Summer's Biggest Party! The goal of this VBS is to help children build on the practice of using daily prayer to turn to God for their needs — and to serve as the hands of God in ensuring that the needs of others are met. SAVE THE DATE, more details are forthcoming! We look forward to seeing you there!

The NexGen (Youth) ministry is calling all ministry hands on deck, as we gear up for the start of youth services and VBS. We are requesting all ministry’s create a themed Auction Basket for our church members and the community to bid on. This, along with the “Pie in the Face” event at the Food Truck Carnival VBS Finale will be our main fundraisers for NexGen this year. The ministry who creates a basket with the highest bid amount will take home a trophy, along with bragging rights for a year.

Details for basket entry are as follows:

  1.  Each ministry may create one or more themed baskets for entry. All baskets must be submitted by or before July 10th for exhibition in the church lobby.
  2. Baskets should have a theme. For example: Family game night, movie night, golf day, spa day, or coffee lovers. (See picture samples above).
  3. The themed baskets will be on display for all church members and the community Sunday, July 10th and 17th leading up to the live auction event.

We are looking forward to seeing baskets from the Women’s Missionary, Choir, Golf, Pastor’s Aid, Women of Worship ministries, and more! Thanks in advance, this competition for a GOOD CAUSE and is going to be fun!

For additional information, please contact Bro. DeVonn J. Fray via text or call at 404-409-3966.

Save the date for the Allen Temple Fellowship Groups yard sale. Stay tuned for more information on how you can participate. There is still time for you to join a Fellowship group, click the link in the Fellowship Group announcement in this e-bulletin.

Join an Allen Temple Fellowship Group, where you will come together monthly with other members to fellowship, laugh and encourage each other.
