January 2024
Marking the New Year + Classes • Events
From the Executive Director
A new year is ever marked by reflection and goal setting. MCA's top 2024 goal is straightforward: PEOPLE.

Our halls are filled with people who have a passion for creating and learning in the arts, and who find joy in being around likeminded and inspiring individuals.

Our goal is to continue to prioritize this milieu for all ages and abilities, and to continue our work to build an inclusive home for the arts, and for the well-being that it engenders.

This year we will continue with design and construction work to provide a more physically accessible building, and work to fill our space with more inspiring classes + intergenerational arts events each season.

In 2024, we will also be working to grow our leadership to better reflect the diverse voices in our community. It takes a rich breadth of cultures, artistry, and professions to create a solid base for community arts programming.

If you would like to join our merry band to build an inclusive and vibrant (and fun, quite frankly) community arts center, I look forward to sitting down and talking more with you about how your skills and interests can be part of our 2024 plans.

MCA's mission is all about people: to inspire, engage, and nurture students, artists, audiences, and our community in their creative explorations. We are excited about living our mission in 2024, and in serving you as the best community arts center possible.
