LTI Sponsors Graduate Student to Present at International Conference
Research work on development of capsomere based HPV by Miao Dong, Natalie Meinerz, Kasey Lewis, and Robert Garcea in Ted Randolph's lab at the University of Colorado is summarized in a poster presentation to be given at the CPPR Conference on Freeze Drying of Pharmaceuticals and Biologicals in Breckenridge on July 13th.
The research is a joint collaboration between the Center for Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, part of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering and BioFrontiers Institute, Department of Molecular, Cellular and Development Biology, both at the University of Colorado, Boulder.  The poster, titled "Development of a lyophilized, thermostable trivalent L1 capsomere-based human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine," will be presented by Miao Dong, graduate student studying under Ted Randolph of the Center for Pharmaceutical Biotechnology.
LTI will provide financial support for Miao to attend the conference to present the groups' research results.  The group has graciously agreed to provide access to the presentation through LTI.
