It's the end of year and we know you're inundated with appeals for donations from non-profits like ours. Please know that we appreciate your generosity and respect your time (and patience) during this busy season.
As we've highlighted these past few emails, 2018 has been a busy year for our critically needed bridge-building work. But what's next? Thanks to your support, we are excited to announce the launch of our newest program - Community MeetUps - to begin January 2019. Community MeetUps integrate the creative arts and cross-cultural immersion as a platform for conflict transformation and civic engagement, and include workshops and master classes on various topics such as songwriting, filmmaking, photography and diversity training. MeetUps provide a space where participants are invited to flex certain intelligences that they may not use on a daily basis.
We're excited to launch these monthly two-hour sessions in partnership with three awesome youth organizations - Railroad Street Youth Project, Gladys Brigham Center, and Roots Teen Center. And we're equally excited to bring our MeetUps to communities around the country with plans to expand from Massachusetts to Georgia and California in early 2019. Let us know if you'd like to bring a Community MeetUp to your town!
