Get out the Vote

Help us get out the vote in Fairbanks by joining us as a 2020 Political Forum Sponsor.

As a non-partisan organization we never endorse specific candidates. Sponsoring the forums shows you support engaging with the issues and making informed choices at the ballot box this November.

Educating our members about the upcoming state, federal, and municipal elections is a core piece of our advocacy program. We are finding creative ways to deliver on that mission in this unusual year.

Political Forum Series Sponsor
  • $500 to co-sponsor the full series of 8 forums from August 4 to October 27.
  • Opportunity to record a 30-second Get Out the Vote video which will be played at one of the online forums and promoted on our social media.
  • Logo recognition on the Fairbanks Chamber website and the live stream of each forum.
  • Recognition on Facebook and other social media.
  • Recognition in public advertising about the forums.

Hospitality Specific Guidance
As the state reopens and businesses adapt to the Covid-19 guidelines, Alaska CHARR recognizes that "not every establishment is the same and not every opening scenario will align."

Because of this, they have created their own specific guidance documents for the hotel, food & beverage community. You can view these industry focused documents HERE .
Fake "Mask Exempt" Cards Circulating

The Better Business Bureau has put out a warning to businesses about fake "mask exempt" cards sold online. These cards bear the logo of the Department of Justice and claim that the bearer is exempt from mask requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). They also threaten fines if anyone asks about the bearer's condition. These claims are false.
