Bonner's Easter Special

Team Ilminster has now been launched and is attracting a lot of interest. Many people are signing up to join and are showing interest in helping out with events and activities throughout the town. Work is going ahead to arrange free First Aid training for volunteers.

Organiser Mike Fry-Foley says he is pleased with the initial response and says that there needs to be something like 30 - 40 Team Ilminster members to make it fully operational. Meanwhile he reminds people to add their events to the Events Calendar so that people can see all the activities in town.

Baby Basics - Thank you!
A great evening was had by all on Friday 17th March at our Baby Basics Quiz which took place at the Archie Gooch Pavilion in Ilminster. A really big thank you to them for allowing us one of their charity quiz nights which take place once a month. There was a wonderful community atmosphere on the night as well as it being great fun so thank you so much to everyone who came along; we so appreciated all your support. Thanks to the entrance fee and the raffle we were able to raise £233 for the project which is just amazing! This money will make such a difference to the continued development of Baby Basics South Somerset and will enable us to support more women and babies in our community. Thank you also to Monks Yard, Silver Street Dairy, Beading under the Baobab, Stitch Pretty and all of those who donated raffle prizes. We couldn't have raised so much money without you.
