February 18th, 2026

Week of Compassion is our denomination's relief, refugee, and development mission fund. It's our church's way of showing up across the country and around the globe wherever disaster strikes or human suffering exists. This Sunday, February 22nd, we'll take our annual special offering in support of this ministry. Every dollar you share is directed towards helping others, not funding administrative costs. You can place a gift in the offering plate or donate online at www.weekofcompassion.org/give.

Easter Flowers

Orders for Easter flowers will be taken February 8th through March 1st. Order forms will be in the bulletin and online, as well.

Please place order forms with your payment in the offering plate or order online and pay there. We must have the order to the nursery on March 2nd.

We are having a Kitchen Shower to equip our new kitchen!

Since we have a brand new kitchen, we want to have fresh, new items to use in it. We are asking our members to purchase the new items at either Target or Walmart. You may choose from the items listed on the wish list in the Narthex.

You may also bring gift cards from Target or Walmart and donate them for buying the new items. Place the gift cards in an envelope and give them to either Shari Jacobs or Sue Call.

Please remove a tag listing the item and put your name on the list of items being taken. Bring your purchased items back to church by March 1st, and put them into the grocery cart in the Narthex. Be sure to put your name with the items so we can thank you properly.

If you have any questions about this process, contact Sue Call at 317-408-9252.

Family and Ministry Night

Last Sunday of the Month · 5:00-7:00pm

It's been a while since we've had a Retro event, which is the ACC group for those who are too old to be young adults but too young to be retired. We're retro, in the sense that we were stylish in the recent past ;)

We will be holding a board game night at ACC on Friday, March 13th from 5:3oPM-8:00PM. The church will provide the main course for dinner, you're encouraged to bring:

- Something appetizing to share for a pitch-in dinner

- Your favorite board game

It will be laid back and a lot of fun. So, put the date on your calendar and we hope to see you then!

Join ACC's Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity Women's Build team!

This summer, on June 19th a team of women from ACC will be volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and one of four of their future homeowners and we'd love for you to be a part of it! No experience is required.

Contact Audrey Pelsor or Janette Smith for more information, and to join.

Lesley Salmon would like to thank everyone who sent sympathy cards, flowers, and showed support for her family in this difficult time.

Joys and Concerns

JOYS

  • We would like to celebrate the team of volunteers that have spent time at Second Helpings. We are excited about that deepening relationship and their work to feed our neighbors.
  • We rejoice with Marilyn Barnett, who welcomed a new grandchild into the family at the end of January.

CONCERNS

  • We pray for Jim and Carol Holzman, who are both facing health challenges courageously.
  • We pray for Robert Keltner, who is back in the hospital. We pray he may receive answers and a path forward.
  • We pray for Lesley Salmon and her family as we celebrated the life of Jane Gradison last week.
  • We continue to pray for those in our church family with physical, mental health, and financial concerns. We specifically want to lift up Don Burrell, Jim Powell, Jerry & Sandy Zimmerman, and Vernon Scott.
  • Our Global Ministries prayer partner this week is Honduras.
