October 21st, 2026

On Saturday, November 14 at 1:00pm we have a Euchre Tournament fundraiser for the Youth Ministry's 2027 Mission Trip! If you do not know how to play Euchre or would rather do something else, don't worry! We will also have other games available like Bingo or Uno if you would prefer. We will also have refreshments like popcorn.

Please feel free to invite friends and family who do not normally attend ACC, the more the merrier!

Euchre is played in teams of two, so you can either register alone and be paired with someone OR register you and your partner. The buy-in is $10 per person ($20 a pair). You can pay online or with cash/check over the next few weeks.

Email youth@allisonville.org with any questions.

Trunk or Treat is coming up quickly! On Sunday, October 25, at 5:00pm we will welcome hundreds of our neighbors to our parking lot for an evening of safe, family-friendly Halloween fun! We need help welcoming folks, decorating trunks and passing out candy, donating candy, floating, and more! Register to volunteer at the button below.

Joys and Concerns

JOYS

  • Paul Tche lunch and learn is happening today!
  • Cindy McDonald had a successful surgery last week and is recovering.
  • We celebrate with Carol Holzman, as a year ago she had a PET scan which showed plaque in her brain. The plaque can lead to dementia, so she began monthly infusions of Kisunla, which over time breaks up the plaque. A recent PET scan showed the plaque was gone! Carol is grateful for all the prayers that have carried her through this time.

CONCERNS

  • Tim and Carolyn Burkholder are grieving with their youngest daughter, Olivia, and her husband, Andrew, as the couple lost an unborn baby last week. We ask that God’s presence and comfort would surround them all through such an awful, unexpected moment.
  • As always, we pray for all those in our community facing physical, mental health, family, and financial challenges. We specifically want to pray for Liz Adkins, Don Burrell, Mary Caress, Martha Hofer, Jane Lawrence, Curtis McCollister, and Diana Shockley.
  • Our Global Ministries prayer partner this week is Germany.

The rate for Worship Flowers is currently $50, and payment may be made to Allisonville Christian Church. Check or cash is preferred and please note somewhere on your payment that it is for worship flowers. However, you can do an online giving as well.

On your Sunday, Kim Fourman will bring a beautiful arrangement of flowers to the sanctuary that you are welcome to take home with you after the second service finishes around noon.
