Are You a Theatre Collingwood Member?

From virtual performances to a new outdoor theatre festival, 2021 has been a very exciting year for Theatre Collingwood despite the challenges of presenting live entertainment during a pandemic. We are so grateful to our loyal supporters and theatre lovers who attended our shows and special events this season. And, we couldn't have done it without our incredible Members who help us keep ticket prices affordable for everyone by making an annual donation that helps us bridge the gap between fundraising and ticket sales.

As we bring our 2021 Membership Campaign to a close in December, we are invigorated by your dedication to Theatre Collingwood and the palpable anticipation for the future of arts and culture in South Georgian Bay.

On Friday, November 5th, we are taking time to show our appreciation for our Director's Giving Circle Members with a special event at the home of our Board Member, Mr. Kerry Mader in Collingwood. The Director's Giving Circle is a dedicated group of arts and culture advocates who have each made a donation to Theatre Collingwood in 2021 for $1000 or more! THANK YOU!

Great News from Our Friends
in the Media

After almost 60 years in broadcasting, Bill Anderson has retired from Bill's Classical Jukebox on The New Classical FM to enjoy time with his family and to travel.

Bill has generously interviewed our Executive Director, Erica Angus, many times about various Theatre Collingwood events. He also played Ebinezer Scrooge in our staged reading of A Christmas Carol. On behalf of everyone at Theatre Collingwood we wish Bill a very Happy Retirement!

We are thrilled to share the news that Daniel Vnukowski, founder of the Collingwood Music Festival and world-renowned pianist, is the NEW host of The Classical Jukebox, weekdays 10am - 2pm.

Daniel brings his vast knowledge of classical music and his warm and wonderful personality to this position.

Collingwood's Dean Hollin will be taking over on AM740 for the Big Band Sunday Nights, and will bring his show Radio Limelight there as well.

Dean has an amazing voice and great knowledge of the Great American Songbook, and he is sure to be such an asset to Zoomer! We were delighted to welcome Dean as part of our PORCHSIDE Festival this summer. So listen for Dean Sunday nights from 7 - 11pm.

CONGRATULATIONS
Daniel and Dean!

We wish you both much success!

Thank You to All 2021 Sponsors
Before the end of the year, we always like to get together with the local businesses that support Theatre Collingwood through our Sponsorship Program to thank them for their continued support.

When in-person gatherings started to take place again, we were thrilled to invite our 2021 Sponsors to a pizza party hosted by our long-time DINE & PLAY partner, Boston Pizza.

The event was originally planned for what turned out to be a frigid and wet Monday that week, but our 'rain date' on Wednesday, October 27th was a beautiful autumn day to connect with everyone on the outdoor patio.

Cheers to Our 2021 Sponsors!
