As we are all well aware, the concern over the
COVID-19
virus is a grave issue for our nation and community. The Villages of Westcreek Owners' Association wants to make sure we are all doing our part as individuals and a community to help stay ahead of the curve and slow down the spreading of this virus. In efforts to do so, we are aligning ourselves with the NISD when it comes to our community activities and following their lead to help provide a consistent message and front to the community. We want to be sure we are adhering to the advice from the CDC as much and possible and providing the safest and most helpful solutions for our community.
Effective immediately, all Westcreek Sports activities, including practices and games, are suspended for the week.
We will send an update if there are any changes to this. If the schools extend their closure, we will also extend our suspension of the league accordingly. We will continue to communicate if this will affect any other planned activities for the community as decisions are made.
We are also requesting that any families that have recently traveled domestically or internationally, especially to highly infected areas, to please do the responsible thing and self-quarantine for at least 14 days. We were made aware of some players at Saturday's games had recently returned from traveling, and per the CDC's recommendations, they should have self-quarantined themselves but did not. We ask that everyone conduct themselves with the best interest of the community in mind and not their personal interests.
Thank you all for your understanding and willingness to help do your part to keep our community safe and to help slow this thing down. Please feel free to contact us at any time with any questions or concerns.
