The last two weeks at Tailwheel Town

 BIG NEWS!
Brian's new book, "SWOOP" has been published and is now available on Amazon!

The week started off nicely with a very good pilot showing up for the TE course.  Ella Blanks flew very nicely and had no

trouble during her get acquainted flight with "Fred", our Tailwheel Town Piper PA12.  Tara Hackler, who I've always said is a great natural pilot, is undergoing some plain ol' recurrent training, just to get better.

Tara Hackler.

And Angela Keeling is an amazing water skier.  You'll probably see more about that in weeks to come.

This has been a record week for new subscriptions to the Newsletter!  Hmmm, might have something to do with LLT and Facebook.

My pal, Wendy, has been working on "Swoop", and I'm really happy to let you know that "Swoop" is now available from Amazon.
Simply go to "Swoop".  This link will take you to the Amazon website should you choose to get your own copy!

A new article on the Tailwheeler's Journal

This week's article is "What's the Difference?"  It has

to do with the difference between "Acme" flight training and that offered at "Tailwheel Town".

An older article worth another look...

I really like this one and it goes well with the last one, "Early Morning Meeting" is about a meeting between my son, Hooper Lansburgh and Jim Lovell, the commander of               Apollo 13 many years ago. It was a great moment in "Hooper History".  This is a story of one of my two kids.  My daughter, Janet, is the one who is pursuing her PPSEL, and I'm sure you'll hear more about her in the future!  In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this look back at how a famous aviator can affect a kid.

Happy Swooping!
Brian
