What's the Impact?
From the Executive Director:

One of the most asked questions as people consider the Leadership Oakland Cornerstone program is, "What's the impact?"

I get it. Time is valuable and leadership development is an investment -- one that organizations and high-achieving leaders shouldn't put on the back burner.

Rather than hear from me about it, allow me to share the sentiments from members of the soon-to-graduate class, LOXXVIII:

"It has been an eye-opening wealth of information. It impacts us all in our careers, work places, communities."

"I was introduced to a great group of intelligent, forward-thinking peers from very diverse professional backgrounds."

“The trust built within the group allowed me to ask questions more openly and freely than I would be able to in any other business-type setting.”

"My sense of civic responsibility has grown to a much greater level. I also know how to better strategically approach meaningful conversation and projects for greater impact."

We've already accepted 25 high-aspiring professionals for next year's class during the early application phase. It's not too late to join this impressive, yet relatable, cohort. The standard application deadline is June 15.

With anticipation of the great things to come,
Nancy Maurer
Executive Director
