Erev Pesach - Shabbat HaGadol - Parshat Tzav

Dear CTI Family,

As Pesach approaches, I wanted to take a moment to wish you all a Chag Kasher v’Sameach! I hope that your Pesach Sedarim will be inspiring and uplifting, and that your whole Pesach experience be a meaningful and spiritually fulfilling one.

Pesach is a time for us to not only reflect on the many ways God has saved us in times of travail, and how He will ultimately redeem us in the Days to Come, but also, to express our gratitude for the many blessings He has bestowed upon us in our own lives.

My bracha for us all is that we take just one moment during our Sedarim to consider the blessings God has given us and express our gladness and appreciation for them. While it is true, Pesach tells the story of our national freedom from slavery, it also calls upon us all to tell the story of our own, personal sense of freedom from the various Egypts of our lives.

This Pesach season, may we celebrate and grow as individuals and as a community. May we plumb the depths of the Haggadah and learn just one new thing at our Sedarim. May we feel motivated and ready to take on the challenges of a post-Pesach world, and may we all fulfill that which the Hagaddah says, “It is our duty to thank, praise, pay tribute, glorify, exalt, honor, bless, extol and acclaim Him, Who performed all these miracles for our ancestors and for us!”

Chag Sameach!

-Rabbi Dan

Reminder: No Kiddush This Shabbat

Kiddush sponsorship is a great way to honor a loved one's memory or celebrate a special occasion while also giving a little back to the community.

If you have a special day you would like to commemorate with a kiddush, now is a great time to reserve your sponsorship for the Shabbos of your choice. If your date is not visible yet on the kiddush calendar, you can still email Beth and ask about reserving that date. Thank you so much for your support of CTI’s kiddush program.
