What do you dread?

Most of us have things to do which do not thrill us.
Sometimes we feel trapped as if our power to do something about the task is taken away from us.

If we feel trapped we might have given away our power!  Even in the most dire situations, the most dreadful conditions, we control our thoughts and attitudes.

Are there some attitude shifts you might make?  What about this task blesses you?  Let's say it is taking out the trash.  You will have a clean, odor free environment.  You can recycle and do your part to bless our planet.  You have been blessed by the items you have used.

Let's say you don't want to go to work--for instance.  Could you re-frame that with a "get to". You get to go to work!  You contribute to the world through what you do.  You are blessed to pay your bills.  In a time when many seek a job--you have one!  And if there is sufficient resistance to your current employment, maybe the Universe is nudging you out of the rut and into a new position.

Open up to the gifts the Universe would like to give you--guidance, strength, inspiration, creativity, abundance and more. Instead of moving through your day, dreading each task, meeting or interaction, prepare yourself by saying, "I go to meet my good."  BELIEVE and "it will be given to you according to your faith."

Remember when it was cold outside and we were grateful for our new boiler?  Now that the heat is rising, we need a new air conditioner!

Thanks to the funds generated by the Service Auction we are over half way to our goal of $5,696.  We only need about $2,000 in additional funds.  This will allow us to install our new air conditioning without using investment funds or savings.

If you would like to make a donation to the Air Conditioning fund, please make your check payable to ULV and put Air Conditioning in the memo line.  We'll have a special "Ice Box" available in the sanctuary for your gifts or just put them in the offering basket on Sunday.

On Sunday, June 30th we'll have an Ice Cream fundraiser after service!

Summer Meditation

Saturday, July 13th
10am to 3pm
Unity of Lehigh Valley

Join us for a half day retreat exploring various modalities for meditation, including a "summer treats" eating meditation.
Dress comfortably, bring pillows, shawls or mats that will support your experience.  Water and tea will be provided along with the light lunch for the eating meditation.  If you have wondered if there is a meditation practice that might work for you, join us for this day of "trying on" different methods of meditation.

Registration is required.  Forms are available outside the ULV office or online.  Cost is $25 per person.  Registration deadline is July 10th.

We are holding Anthony Young and his family in our prayers as his father made his transition on June 2nd. We know Anthony's father moves into the next experience of eternal life continuing to be the love he was created to be.  The memorial service will be June 14th in Indiana.

What are you grateful for?

We are grateful for an amazing celebration of 40 years of ministry through our Unity of Lehigh Valley.  We appreciate every single person who has been a part of and continues to be a part of our spiritual community.  Whether you came for a Sunday, an event, a year or a lifetime, you are part of who we are!

If you are grateful for something at ULV, send a message to the office: unitylv@rcn.com
