Do you know what your water budget is? Every Centennial Water customer has a water budget - an amount of water allocated for indoor and outdoor use.
The indoor component is 12,000 gallons bi-monthly and may be adjusted based on the number of people living in your home. The outdoor component is determined by your individual lot size. Your water budget gradually increases from early spring to mid-summer, and decreases at the end of summer into early fall.
Think of your water budget as a road map of how much water you have available in a billing period to maintain healthy plant material. The goal is water conservation. Use only as much as you need. Going over your water budget will result in a higher water bill.
You're water budget can be found on your water bill.
