WILPF US is Hiring an Executive Director!

Your input on qualifications is requested

We are thrilled to share that we recently received a generous multi-year donation from a long-time donor through the Lloyd Family Legacy Campaign. The donor requests that we use her gift to bring on a full-time executive director to lead the day-to-day operations, leadership, management, and fundraising, and to help coordinate programs for WILPF US. In addition, the ideal candidate will contribute to WILFPs long-term sustainability, and help develop powerful outreach to grow WILPF’s visibility and increase our numbers across the US.

That’s a big job!

What skills should we look for? What tasks should we prioritize in our job

posting?

Please complete the linked short survey ASAP… no later than June 14th!

While the hiring timeline is a bit fluid at this juncture, we are currently targeting the following key dates:

  • Early September 2024: Job posted
  • October-November 2024: Review applicants, conduct interviews, and make an offer
  • No later than January 2025: Executive director hired and onboarded

We have assembled a great Search Search Committee to lead the recruitment and hiring process, comprised of WILPF leadership and members from the Lloyd Family Legacy Planning Team.

As valued WILPF members, your input and feedback is critical, so we invite and encourage you to complete this brief survey which will help inform the job description, the selection of candidates we interview, and ultimately who we hire.

The survey should take about 20-30 minutes to complete and will be open until Friday, June 14, 2024, at 11:59pm EDT. At that time, the Search Committee will assess the data and begin to compose the job description. So don’t put it off…. Please complete the survey NOW!

Additionally, at our Triennial Congress (Wednesday, May 29 - Sunday, June 2) Laura Dewey will lead a special session on Sunday, June 2, (from 12:15 - 1PM EDT) to share more of the latest details on the Lloyd Family Planning Team’s Campaign, which includes the work to hire an executive director.

It’s not too late to register for the Congress! You can see the full Congress schedule here.

We will be sure to share key updates on the hiring process throughout the search. Should you have any questions and/or concerns, please contact Kyle Grassi via email at KyleEGrassi@gmail.com.
