A Local Issue with Real Workforce Consequences
Is your business feeling the effects of hiring challenges, turnover, or inconsistent staffing? Reliable childcare plays a direct role in workforce stability, influencing recruitment, retention, and employee reliability across industries. This Eggs and Issues program will examine childcare as essential economic infrastructure in Dunn County, using local data and real world examples to show how it impacts the broader business community, not just families and providers.
The discussion will move beyond awareness to focus on practical, employer driven solutions and financial incentives available through Wisconsin Act 78. Attendees will hear what is working locally and across the state, explore employer supported childcare models, and gain realistic, scalable steps businesses can take to be part of the solution. The program is designed to provide clear return on investment insight and actionable strategies that support long term workforce stability across the community. The program will take place April 2, 2026 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the University of Wisconsin Stout Ballrooms, 302 10th Avenue East Upper Level, Menomonie.
π Register now to take part in the April 2 discussion.
