20 Years in Print: The Art of Ron Liberti  Ron Liberti Show

The Ackland Museum Store will host this unique show on Friday, July 29 from 7PM to 9PM. It features 100 original silkscreened posters, large mono prints, hand silkscreened textiles, CDs/LPs, and more. The show is a celebration of the work of local artist and musician Ron Liberti during his twenty years in Chapel Hill. The inspiration of most of the work in the show springs from Liberti's music as well as that of many other Chapel Hill musicians. The opening reception will also feature music by local musician Billy Sugarfix. The reception is an RSVP only event. Paperhand Puppet Intervention's Annual Summer Show Paperhand Puppet

Paperhand Puppet Intervention brings it's 12th annual summer show to the Forest Theater starting August 5 through September 5. The show features new masks, giant puppets, stilts, painted cardboard, and shadows all brought to life by the award winning Paperhand band. The show explores the unending cyclical nature of the universe through the lens of our humanity as well as retelling some old stories with a Paperhand twist.
