We're almost ready!

Both library buildings will reopen Monday, August 16.

Here's what to expect when you come visit. (Missed the last update? Read it here.)

Park Branch - New Entrance
Please use the side door at the Park Branch Library

To help manage traffic flow, the lobby will be closed.

The side door is next to the book drop in the parking lot, facing Junipero St.

You can walk up, or park in the parking lot. The driveway behind the building will be closed.
Planning a Longer Visit?
If you plan to stay in the library more than 5 minutes,
we ask that you fill out a short contact tracing form.

Forms will be provided at the library.
Only one form needed per group.
Local History Still Closed
The Local History Department will continue
to be closed for the next several weeks.

We hope to open on an appointment basis by early September.
Check Your Hold Pickup!
Double check where your holds are! Before you come pick up your items, log in to your library account and click on the Holds tab.
Take a look at the Pick up location and Status.

New Hours
Starting Monday, August 16, both the Harrison Memorial Library (Ocean & Lincoln) & the Park Branch Library (Mission & 6th), will be open 3 days/week:
What Else to Expect
Once our buildings are open:
  • Masks required for entry.
  • Library card or ID required to check out items. Picking up for someone else? Bring their library card number!
  • Public restrooms will be open in both buildings.
  • All kids and adult collections open for browsing.
  • Seating available in both buildings.
