Attending the Spring 2026 Undergraduate Business Career Fair was just the first step…what you do afterward matters most!

  • Start by getting organized: review your list of employer booths visited, note who you met, and identify roles you may be interested in applying to. Be sure to track deadlines and application instructions so nothing slips through the cracks.

  • Within 24 hours, follow up with gratitude (a brief thank-you email) and clarify next steps when appropriate. Continue building those connections by sending personalized LinkedIn invitations and staying in touch.

  • As you prepare to apply, tailor your resume to each role, highlight the most relevant skills and experiences, and use tools like VMock and CCD’s Canvas resources for support.

  • Finally, don’t wait to start interview prep; use CCD’s Big Interview platform to refine your interview skills. And remember CCD is here to help. Schedule an appointment via Handshake with a Career Adviser or attend Drop-In Hours with a Peer Career Ambassador (PCA) for personalized guidance.
