A protected bike lane is being installed on Central Park West from 59th to 110th Street. The lane will come with a seven-foot buffer and plastic posts separating riders from traffic. The project was spearheaded by Manhattan Community Board 7 and the Department of Transportation and work will continue throughout the summer.
