June 9 is Election Day! Before you head to the polls tomorrow, here are some important reminders for Fulton County voters.
Check Your Polling Site
Know Before You Go
Due to COVID-19, a total of 45 Fulton County polling locations have changed, affecting thousands of voters.  See the list of polling place changes here.

All Fulton County voters should check the GEORGIA MY VOTER PAGE  before going to the polls on Election Day.

Voters  must  go to their assigned polling locations, open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Everyone in line by 7 p.m. will be allowed to vote. Absentee ballots must be dropped off by 7 p.m. on Election Day.

Returning Your Absentee Ballot
Georgia law requires that all absentee ballots must be returned by 7 p.m. on Election Day.

To help you get your ballot in on time, Fulton County has added 20 absentee ballot drop boxes.

You can view all ballot drop box locations using our  online tool .

Ballots are picked up from ballot drop boxes every day. All boxes will be locked at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9.

Georgia law does not allow absentee ballots to be turned in at a polling place. Voters who requested an absentee ballot and choose to vote in person will be asked to complete an affidavit at their polling place.

If you have not received a requested absentee ballot, please vote in person at your polling site.
Be prepared for Election Day
Because precincts have been combined and voter turnout has been strong, voters may encounter lines at the polling place on Tuesday.

Be prepared for the wait and bring water, umbrellas, or a book to stay comfortable whether indoors or outdoors.

Voters are encouraged to view their sample ballot to help make the lines move faster. The ballot will take time for voters to complete. View your sample ballot at the Georgia My Voter Page
Voter Accommodations
Residents aged 75-plus or those with disabilities can request to move to the head of the line at the polls during non-peak hours of 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Please ask a poll worker for assistance.
Keeping You Safe and Healthy

Fulton County is committed to your health & safety. Several measures are in place to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

  • Providing Personal Protective Equipment for all poll workers, and requiring that they wear this equipment throughout their shift.
  • Voters are asked to wear a face covering to protect yourself and others.
  • Voters will be provided a stylus for voting purposes. This will be sanitized after each voter.
  • Social distancing will be enforced, requiring voters to stand at least 6 feet apart.
  • The number of voters inside the poll at a given time will be limited to maintain social distancing.
New Voting Machines
The June 9 Election is the first time most Georgia voters have used the new election equipment introduced earlier this year.
