πŸ’Œ A Letter From Our Executive Director

ο»ΏHello Friends of Loving Care Cat Rescue,

I find it hard to believe that the year has again flown by so fast. We have been

busy all year trying to help as many kitties as possible.

As of September 30, 2025, 640 cats have been saved from various situations and brought into the safety net of Loving Care Cat Rescue (LCCR) and 562 kitties have been adopted. We will very soon exceed our 2024 totals, as seen in the box below.

We hope you have followed us on Facebook to see the pictures and success stories. LCCR has experienced some very sad times in the rescue this year (that we do not share to save others from heartbreak); however, we have had some incredibly happy times this year as well.

To recap some of our success stories:

  • Stuffing had successful surgeries and is now a very loved, spoiled BIG adopted kitty that continues to get updated braces for continued development and success. We appreciate his care team’s incredible talents to assist him and his excellent foster’s initial care.
  • Fudge, who had a cleft palate and somehow survived with that deformity for 15 months, is doing well after surgery and the excellent continued care by our incredible foster and his care team.
  • 16 kitties were successfully treated (by the rescue or due to our assistance) for Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a disease that years ago would have been fatal.
  • Give Local York and Rock Out for Rescue were both a HUGE success thanks to the diligent work of our volunteers and absolutely due to YOUR incredible, continued and precious support!

ο»Ώ

I want to thank you all for loving animals and assisting us in so many ways such as sharing our story, donating money and/or items, sharing pictures with us of our kitties in your loving homes and coming to our events to support us! We CANNOT do this work without you, and I hope we can continue to rely on your support.

With deep appreciation,

Lisa K Snyder

Executive Director

Faces of the Rescue highlights some of the hundreds of cats and kittens that we've adopted out over the past year. We're so thankful for the loving care our fosters give each cat we rescue, and for the adopters who open their homes to their new furry family members.
