We were thrilled to relaunch our legislative briefing series with an in-person, private tour of The Salvation Army’s Anaheim Emergency Shelter. This shelter has been home to more than 1,000 individuals in the past two years and offers a low-barrier, temporary housing solution for our homeless neighbors.
Thank you to The Salvation Army Orange County and the City of Anaheim for leading this informative tour. We enjoyed learning about the new plans for The Center of Hope – a comprehensive solution that combines an emergency shelter, permanent supportive housing apartments, onsite medical care, and a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center – and truly appreciate the 20+ staffers who made the time to join us. Like you, we are committed to finding solutions to end our homelessness crisis.
