Notes from desk of BCR Chairman, Peg Cage
PREPARATION FOR BCR CAUCUSES ON MARCH 3, 2026, 7 to 9 PM
BCR ASSEMBLY ON MARCH 21, 2026
PRIMARY ELECTION ON JUNE 30, 2026
This is Week 9 of a four-month series to prepare Boulder County Republicans for self-governance through the caucus and assembly process.
THE BOULDER COUNTY REPUBLICANS’ OFFICE
Somebody joked that President Trump should use the iconic National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) building for his Presidential Library.
| Read the satire piece here or click the picture above! | |
I think it’s a great idea, and Boulder County Republicans respectfully request a wing for our next office and meeting space!
It’s not as ridiculous as it seems. When elections were mostly honest, Boulder County was mostly Republican. Our Republican President is working to restore honest elections and return America to a Government of the People. That means we need everybody to get involved, which means BCR would be one of the largest organizations in the county. To start with, three hundred and eighty-four Precinct Committee People would make up the BCR Central Committee. (Two for each of the 192 precincts.)
For now, we have a lovely office at 425 S. Bowen in Longmont. 303-443-6606. It is 100% donation-funded and volunteer-staffed under the excellent direction of Sandra Holloway. Join us at the many monthly meetings and the special events held there or just stop in to borrow a book from the library or purchase some Boulder County Republicans “merch,” or just chat with fellow Republicans. There are drinks in the fridge and usually some snacks on the kitchen counter.
The office will see a lot of caucus and assembly preparations in February. The caucuses are the foundational organizational meetings to build a successful party that puts forth and elects true representational government. If you want to be instrumental in making BCR’s caucuses a big success, please contact BCR Secretary Cathy Jarrett to volunteer crjrtt@msn.com or 303-776-8513.
For more info see: Caucus Assembly Convention Process)
Boulder County Republicans’ Precinct Caucuses will be held on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, at locations throughout the county. General information will be available soon at www.bocoGOP.org, including instructions for requesting remote access to caucus. Remote Access requests must be received by 5:00 pm, February 1st, 2026.

We've developed a communications tool for communication, information, and coordination of our activities. It's our members only social media site! For example, we just created on OurBCR.org private chat rooms for each precinct to start the caucus conversations early. Click on the image above or here for a video tour!
We invite all Boulder County Republicans to join us there!
Simply go to https://ourbcr.org, hit the sign-up button, and fill in the required fields. Once inside, look around and join us for the conversations that interest you!
| | |
You can support Boulder County Republicans by following us on X (Twitter) @bocoGOP and on Facebook @bocoGOP. When we post, like them, comment on them, and repost them. This boosts our engagement and helps us spread our message far and wide!
If you're not on X, Pew Research shows that 59% of X users are there to keep up on politics, far more than Facebook or Instagram users both at 26% each.
For example, we've created a list on X to see what every Colorado 2026 Gubernatorial Candidate is posting on X. Click on the image below or the button below it to watch the video.
| |
To get to the list in X, login to your X account, then click this link: X List and follow the list.
In case you're not on X yet, here's a video showing all you need to know to get started on X!
