Proceeds from the tournament support our Business Leaders of Tomorrow scholarship, which provides scholarships to local students attending post-secondary business programs. We have 5 holes left to sponsor, and are also seeking door prizes and silent auction items.

Registration includes 18 holes of golf, breakfast, lunch and dinner, registration gift, prizes, games, and a chance to mix and mingle with great company!

Cannabis in the Workplace Lunch & Learn
One of our goals at the DDCC is to provide valuable opportunities for members of the business community to learn. The legalization of cannabis this October is a hot topic, and we want to help our local business and organizations understand how legalization may affect their workplace.
We are pleased to be bringing Adam Czarnecki of Talent Tactics Consulting to Drumheller on Thursday, September 20 to present a Lunch & Learn on "The Cannabis Quagmire- Workplace Readiness".

Location: Canalta Jurassic Inn.

Presentation begins at 11:30 sharp and runs until 1:00pm. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to check in and get your lunch.

Growing Kneehill- Country Market & Long Table Dinner 2018

On August 18 the Kneehill County Agriculture Service Board will be hosting a Country Market & Long Table Dinner event at Horseshoe Canyon which receives nearly 2,000 visitors on the day. This event will tie into Alberta Open Farm Days and the new Alberta Local Food Week.
The Country Market runs from 2-6pm, and will showcase a variety of businesses. Capping the event will be the long table dinner, prepared by top chefs collaborating with and utilizing products from vendors of the Country Market and other local ingredients. Purchase tickets to the Long Table Dinner here .

Nominate Yourself for an Alto Award
The Alto Awards recognize individuals and organizations committed to enriching Alberta’s tourism industry and who, by their actions, inspire others and demonstrate what can be achieved by working together. The Alto Awards will be presented in ten categories, and to the 2018 Alto Ambassador, at the Alto Awards gala, October 22, 2018, in conjunction with the 18th annual  Travel Alberta Industry Conference  in Banff, October 21-23, 2018.

Junior Achievement is proud to have achieved the following goals:
  • Delivered 7 World of Choices career forums in Cochrane, Drumheller, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Okotoks, Red Deer, and Strathmore
  • Raised $129,000 to support regional programming
  • Hosted 3 Economics for Success post-secondary program
  • Expanded programming to new schools and communities
  • Worked in partnership with 7 JA Regional Leadership Councils, 27 School Districts, Community Futures, local Chambers of Commerce and various community organizations.

The Drumheller Legion and Drumheller Genealogy Club are selling banners in Remembrance of Vets, which will be placed on light standards downtown Oct. 1 til just after Remembrance Day. If you wish to purchase a banner in remembrance, applications and further details can be found by contacting the Drumheller Legion at 823-5611 or stop by 295 Centre Street.
The banners will be stored by the Drumheller Legion, and will be installed and taken down each year by Town of Drumheller employees.
