Rain or Shine
It was a match up of NorCal volleyball powers has the Rams hosted Sierra College and Delta College in a Friday double header out on the sand. Despite the rain and hail that poured down on the Beach at Gav, it was all sunshine for the Rams as they came away with a pair of wins.

Important Dates and Deadlines
- SCHOLARSHIPS: The online application for Gavilan scholarships is open through March 15, 2019. You will be considered for all eligible scholarships by submitting a single online application.
- Thousands of dollars available
- Opportunities in many degree and program areas
- Open application = eligibility for many scholarships
- No letters of recommendation needed
- Spring Break: Monday April 1 - Sunday, April 7
- Graduation: Friday, May 24 at 3 p.m.

CBEST Preparation Workshops
Gavilan College and Cabrillo College have partnered to offer
2 FREE CBEST Preparation Workshops (yes 2!)
1st Workshop:
GAVILAN COLLEGE

The CBEST Test is required for anyone who wants to be a teacher, and most teaching credential programs require that the test is passed prior to entering the credential program. If you are thinking of becoming a teacher, even if you have not transferred or finished your Bachelor’s Degree, now is a great time to prepare and plan for the test.
These prep sessions will:
- Describe the CBEST Test and how it is organized: what happens on testing day? How can you prepare?
- Explain how to create strategies for effective time management, answering questions, and navigating the test
- Give opportunities to practice the three sections of the test: Math, Reading, and Writing
