What you should know about engineered hardwood flooring
Engineered Hardwood Flooring is structured in two ways:
Plywood base, top wear-layer veneer or a sawn piece of the actual wood
3-ply system with solid wood staves in the center, veneer on the bottom and a sawn piece of the actual wood on the top as the wear-layer.

Value & Pricing
As a rule, the thicker the wear-layer and the longer the lengths, the better the product and the higher the price.
Re-sanding is only possible if the wear-layer is thick enough to allow for it.
