Whether you you do it on vacation at the beach, with kids out of school, or at home alone, reading can be an adventure, an escape, or new ideas that change your outlook. I just finished reading a book and wonder. . . What books do you recommend? Reply with your Reading Program recommendations. I'll share with everyone in future newsletters.

Abide in square-white

2024 Mission Project:

ABIDE WOMEN'S HEALTH SERVICES

Abide was chosen for our '24 Mission Project because it is working to improve disparities in maternal health here in North Texas.

Ways you and your group can participate:

  • Use links on our 2024 Mission Project webpage to learn about their mission, midwives and happy families with resources with your small group or on your own at home this summer.
  • Shop online or locally
  • Create hand-made items for babies

Your support will help Abide reach more families and improve birth outcomes right here in the DFW area. Plan to bring items to Mission u for collection.

THE STOLEN LIVES PROJECT -

" VIDAS ROBOTAS"

Your church or group can participate in this DIY art installation that memorializes victims of gun violence. It is a powerful way to visualize the reality of too many victims of gun violence in our communities. More info here.
