SBA Hosts LIFT Business Seminar for WOSBs
For Women-Owned Small Business (WOSBs) leaders in Montgomery County and surrounding areas who are interested in learning how to become a Federal contractor.
The Drake Institute of Women's Policy in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Maryland Department of Labor is hosting a training seminar to help WOSBs prepare for the certification process.

A new WDCE scholarship for financially-eligible, job seekers who are ready to get to work by June 30, 2024, is now ready for applicants!
The Robert I. Schattner Job Training and Certification Scholarship is now available to receive applications during the open period from July 5 - August 4, 2023. Information about the scholarship, eligibility requirements, a list of qualified courses, the application and more are now on the WDCE Career Path Scholarship page.
Full scholarships, career navigation, certification exam fees, and required books are built into the program. This grant should serve 50-60 people who establish eligibility. Apply now and don't miss the deadline!
