Donate a car to the Bucks County Opportunity Council
in July, & you will:

  • Get a check for $500 from the Gene and Marlene Epstein Humanitarian Fund (First 20 donors in July);
  • Help us unlock $10,000 donation for Wheelz2Work from the Gene and Marlene Epstein Humanitarian Fund;
  • Be assured that we hand over the keys to a family we are working with to attain stability and economic self-sufficiency;
  • Be eligible for the highest tax deduction available, because it is going to someone in need (Private party value).

Donating is Easy!
Complete this online form to tell us about the vehicle. We accept cars that are in good working order only. We may ask for service records, an evaluation by a mechanic or other information to determine if it is acceptable.

Don't have a car to give away now?
  • Forward this email to your friends and neighbors who may have a car they want to donate.

  • Make a donation. Your tax-deductible gift pays for vehicle transfer fees, inspection and repair costs (select Wheelz2work from the drop-down menu).
Wheelz2Work is a partnership between BCOC, Bucks County Community College and the Epstein Humanitarian Fund. Donated vehicles are given to low-income families enrolled in BCOC’s Economic Self-Sufficiency (ES) Program who need safe, reliable transportation for work or school. BCOC’s Economic Self-Sufficiency Program matches eligible families with an Coach, and together they develop an individualized plan, with a focus on education and employment.

Wheelz2Work is a lifeline for BCOC program participants who have been derailed from pursuing additional training or job interviews or have been unable to apply for higher paying jobs at a greater distance from home because of unsafe or unreliable transportation.

To date, 71 used cars have been donated to BCOC! The Epstein family is hoping to expand the Wheelz to Work Program and provide much needed transportation to ES participants currently on the waiting list.

For over 50 years, the Opportunity Council has served low-income families in Bucks County by helping them to stabilize when in crisis, garner resources to achieve a livable wage, gain additional education and training, and work towards economic self-sufficiency.
