Here's a real text I sent a friend today:

"I simply do not have it in me to handle the horrors of the world, ride the waves of middle school, AND learn new keyboard shortcuts. I don't."

Yes, I recently bought a new computer and have a 12-year old, but substitute in your own life’s scenarios, and I’m guessing you get it. If that’s how you’re feeling, come hang out with me Wednesday for:

When Everything Feels Important: An Admin Café for Church Communicators

We’ll say a prayer for the world and talk about how to juggle all that we’re juggling. Like submitting our reports for the Annual Meeting while migrating the livestream feed to the new server while our kid’s in the office because it’s a preemptive snow day and getting up that Instagram post that’s both reflective and responsive, but not too polarizing about today’s still-evolving current event…

Upcoming Workshops

The following workshops are open to Caffeinated Church members. Become a member here.

Administrators Virtual Café

When Everything Feels Important

Wednesday, January 28 | 10:00 am to 11:00 am PT / 11:00 am to 12:00 pm MT / 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm CT / 1:00 to 2:00 pm ET

January often brings a fresh calendar—and a renewed sense that everything needs attention at once. In this Admin Café, church communicators and administrators are invited into an honest conversation about how we decide what truly deserves our time and energy (Eenie, meenie...) when capacity is limited and expectations are high.

Facilitated by Ashley Graham-Wilcox, Church Communications Consultant

Expert-led Workshop

Launching New Communications Initiatives

Wednesday, February 25
| 10:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM MT / 12:00 PM CT / 1:00 PM ET

Thinking about starting a new newsletter, platform, podcast, or communications effort? This workshop offers a practical framework for launching something new without overextending your time or capacity.

We will cover the essentials of a strong communications launch, including clarity around purpose, realistic timelines, launch strategy, frequency, and sustainability. We will also talk honestly about when it is time to pause, adapt, or stop an initiative and why that does not mean it failed.

Designed for church communicators and administrators who want to experiment wisely, steward energy well, and learn from every launch.

Led by Easton Davis, Canon for Communications & Digital Evangelism, Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta
