Dear Neighbor,
In 2024, a major rain event caused severe flooding in South Acres. Residents found themselves dealing with standing water for days, yet PAID — whose primary responsibility is flood control and water management — had no emergency response plan in place.
After residents endured three days of flooding, the City of Plantation stepped in. City crews responded with personnel, equipment, and a portable pump to help remove the water and provide relief to affected homeowners.

As you consider your vote, ask yourself a simple question: When residents needed help, who showed up? The answer is clear.
