When God Calls Us to Obey

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19

Greetings Ministry Partners,

I often feel like God is calling me to do something without understanding the details. In those moments, I've learned that trusting and obeying God's call is the key to experiencing His glory. This month, we had two remarkable events: God's Financial Principles (GFP) Seminars with over 80 participants from many churches. I never thought these events would happen, but God made it possible.

When the churches asked CCI to provide a special training for them, I immediately said yes, despite having no funds to make it happen. I believed that a GFP was the best subject to train them. And indeed, we were able to conduct the training with God's provision. The experience was incredible, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve in this way.

Our CCI classes are still ongoing, with three classes in central Laos and one new class just opened in western Laos. Currently, we have 85 students altogether. Through this experience, I've learned that when God calls us to do something without understanding, trust and obedience are essential. By doing so, we'll see the glory of Him in our lives.

We appreciate your prayers and support.

Classes

We have three classes in central Laos, one on book 10 and two others on book 2. In western Laos, we have one class on Book 10 and another new class just started.

New class in western Laos

Pastor S continued to teach his class with 3 students on Book 10 and 1 student on Book 4. Pastor S has another two classes under his care one with 17 students and the other with 8 students being taught by a CCI alumni.

Pastors K and O opened a new CCI class with 22 students from three provinces. The first meeting was held in western Laos, and they will later divide the students into three classes.

Training

Last month, Pastors K and O organized two God's Financial Principles (GFP) seminars. Over 80 people were in attendance from several churches from three different provinces.

Pastor X continued to visit Hmong churches. He was the speaker on “Church Planting” for the church conference where he also had the opportunity to promote the CCI ministry to the Hmong churches.

Testimony

"Greetings, I am a church leader at a house church. I would like to express my gratitude to all the leaders who have brought CCI to our location, providing me with the opportunity to participate in CCI training. I am proud to have completed all 10 courses.

When I began leading our house church, I had limited knowledge of the Bible. However, during my studies, I made a conscious effort to apply what I learned to my life and ministry. This has been a transformative experience for me.

As a result of my studies, our church has experienced significant growth over the past two years. In fact, we have welcomed 13 new believers into our church family during this time.

I would be grateful if you would keep me in your prayers, asking God to give me the courage and boldness to be a witness and lead His people. Thank you for your support and encouragement."

Prayer Requests & Praises

 ●      Praise God for the opportunity for the National Director to have lunch and fellowship with old friends from New Zealand and Canada. This time together was a rich reminder of God's goodness and provision, filling their hearts with joy and gratitude.

●      Please pray for the 4 Hmong pastors who are dedicated to translating the BTCP curriculum into Lao Hmong. Unfortunately, they found that the existing curriculum from Hmong Vietnam is 60% different. This discrepancy has caused confusion and misunderstandings when they read the material. We need your prayers and support as they work towards creating a new translation to bring God's Word to more Hmong people.

●      Thank God for the two GFPs supported by our donors. May God indeed bless you and all those who were involved in making these seminars a success.

●      Please pray for Pastor X who will open a new class with 10 Hmong leaders in the first week of June and another new class with over 20 Hmong leaders on June 10-14, 2024.

●      Praise God for the new class with 22 students.

●      Please continue to pray for Pastor O who will teach and oversee three classes.

●      Please pray for the National Director as he will travel to the North to open a new class.

●      Pray for Pastor S, who will take care of four classes with over 40 students.

●      Please pray for our graduation ceremony and the GFP seminar in the last week of June.
