When Powerful Women

Be Powerful

I don't know where this essay came from or who Ari Eastman is but what I do know is this is absolutely true.

After posting it on Facebook and Linked In I have more likes/comments than when I post pics of my grandkids!

So apparently it speaks to a lot of you as well.

I can remember times when I attended meetings and when I spoke up coming from my total power. The shock of men AND women hearing me speak from a place of my power was clearly uncomfortable for them.

I had been invited to do exactly that so why the shock and surprise?

Still today we are the recipients of people's view of how we should be. Inherent in that are the pictures in their heads of a powerful woman.

I believe their pictures include a discriminatory view of us being there but not opening our mouths to speak. Or if we do open our mouths only pearls of wisdom beautifully articulated are to come out NOT a powerful statement.

The "rub" is we don't have a choice or time for their pictures to match up with our power. So we will have to live with this craziness until the pictures match the power.

Until then get ready for shock and anger. And get used to it. Cause if we back away and pretend not to be as powerful as we are then my Granddaughter Marigold doesn't have a prayer of it changing!

So BE A POWERFUL WOMAN it really is the only choice you and I have!

2.Reviewing WMF®

Any graduate can attend a public WMF® virtual or in person workshop and be a full participant in the workshop again.

You will need to fully participate and be present for the entire workshop.

cost: 50% of the workshop cost
