Welcome to Where Are They Now?, a snapshot of what our Omaha Alumni are doing these days!

Catching up with: Dan Morris

What is your favorite Jewish memory growing up in Omaha?

All my favorite Jewish memories in Omaha are around a shared table. Whether it was a giant Rosh Hashanah with family, Christmas at House of Hunan with friends, late-night poker games, or watching sporting events together, being part of the Jewish community in Omaha meant sharing food, laughter, and great company.

Where are you living now?

I live in Chicago with my wife Rachel and our two sons, David (9) and Asher (6).

What are you doing today?

As the head of sales and consulting at Owl Practice Suite, I support our teams who help make mental health more affordable and accessible for all. We provide therapists with the tools they need to build and maintain thriving practices.

When was the last time you were in Omaha, and what was the biggest change?

I still get back to Omaha at least once a year. Despite all the changes to the city, driving at 132nd and Pacific still feels like home–like I'm just heading to the JCC for swim practice or an AZA meeting. The city feels like it is always growing, and I am excited to see what the future holds for my hometown.
