Thanks to generous volunteers and community partners, this summer more than 75 youth benefited from the structured learning environment at UCM's two community centers. Ana Moran, UCM Stepping Stones Counselor, was honored with a 2017 NCS Distinguished Partner Award at the recent Fairfax County Neighborhood and Community Services' Partners and Staff Recognition Ceremony. These annual awards honor individuals and organizations who assist NCS in fulfilling its mission of bringing people and resources together to strengthen the well-being of individuals and communities -- and who go above and beyond the expectations of a traditional colleague, partner, or contractor.
