As part of The Hill Institute community, we’re excited to share our 2025 Impact Report, a reflection of what we’ve built together over the past year. In 2025, we continued turning innovation into real-world outcomes. Since 2020, we have launched or accelerated 233 ventures, supported 382 program graduates, deployed $188,000 in capital to help founders move from idea to execution, and engaged 15,000+ attendees across our programs and events.
This year alone, 40 students engaged directly in industry and community problem solving alongside 47 active corporate and civic partners. We are building momentum that lasts, with repeat and serial student founders continuing to emerge across our ecosystem. Our programs serve a broad range of lived experiences, with participants identifying as 58.3% White, 21.3% Black, and 20.5% from other underrepresented groups, and a gender breakdown of 54.6% male, 45.1% female, and 0.3% other, reinforcing our commitment to access, opportunity, and impact.
This report is designed to keep you connected to the work happening across campus, in the Greenville community, and beyond. Inside, you’ll find program highlights, key metrics, and stories from Furman students, founders, and community members who are turning ideas into action, along with a message from our Executive Director that captures the momentum carrying us into the year ahead. Most importantly, it reflects the collective effort of supporters, mentors, and collaborators who continue to invest in innovation, leadership, and opportunity through The Hill Institute.
We invite you to explore the report and see firsthand where impact strikes and how your support helps shape what’s next.
