Next month, Cambridge Health Alliance will open our new Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC). We were chosen by the state to become one of 25 CBHC sites in Massachusetts. This state-wide effort will add more mental health services to meet the growing need for people of all ages.

The first CHA site will open at Cambridge Hospital on January 1, 2023 and we are planning a second site in Malden in 2024. Our Cambridge location will have the following services for people of all ages:

  • A 24-hour Call Center to support mental health needs and connect people to care.

  • An Urgent Care/Walk In clinic, open Monday- Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday- Sunday 9am to 5pm. This will provide quicker mental health care for urgent needs.

Look for more about how CHA is offering more mental health support in upcoming issues. And, if you are interested in working at CHA, please check out a list of open positions within the CHA Community Behavioral Health Center.

Getting your medications just got easier

Stay Safe Over the Holidays

While most of us look forward to getting together with our friends and families over the holidays, it’s more complicated these days. With COVID rates on the rise and the worst Flu season in years filling hospital beds across the state, there are steps you can take to protect each other. Our new blog post has tips from Dr. Lou Ann Bruno-Murtha, CHA’s Chief of Infectious Disease, to help you stay safer during the holidays.

CHA offers weekly vaccine clinics for COVID and flu. Or schedule your visit on MyChart.
Working at CHA means you can make a difference every day

We’re currently looking for people to join us in our new Community Behavioral Health Center and other positions across our regional system. From our hospitals to our care centers to our communities - it takes lots of different people to run a modern healthcare system. So come find out if there’s a position that’s right for you.
