Where is the SCDOT Complete Streets policy???
The pandemic greatly impacted recent ability to finalize the Complete Streets policy. However, today we communicated with the Secretary of Transportation about this policy, and we will soon enter a phase of close communication about policy elements. It's not over 'til it's over, and the Palmetto Cycling Coalition and larger SC Livable Communities Alliance remain committed to a robust policy that will bring improved safety, health, livability, and economic opportunity for all mobility modes in our state. We hold these goals high, regardless of your neighborhood, zip code, urban or rural location, age, disability, gender, family size, or income. This Complete Streets policy will be for you. In 2020.
The SC Livable Communities Alliance is a coalition-based, multimodal streets policy campaign led by the Palmetto Cycling Coalition
