With your help, Coloradans for Nebraska has been able to provide 27 scholarships for 2013/2014 to Colorado High School Graduates that are attending the University of Nebraska. This is possible with all of those that have Volunteered their time, talents, and energy (both past and present) as a Board Member, as a Watch Site Volunteer, a Scholarship Committee Person, a Coloradans for Nebraska Member, an Auction Bidder (Live and Silent), a Coloradans for Nebraska Business Partner, through providing donations, through the support of the University of Nebraska Alumni Association, and so many other ways.

August 31, 2013 Nebraska vs. Wyoming Please join us at one of our many watch sites and friendly sites on Saturday, August 31st when Nebraska plays against Wyoming at Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:00 pm Mtn time with the game airing on BTN (Big Ten Network).

Half Time Prize Drawings When Coloradans for Nebraska has volunteers at one of the below locations, you will find information about Coloradans for Nebraska, be able to purchase Coloradans for Nebraska memberships and merchandise, purchase Nebraska merchandise, donate to the Coloradans for Nebraska Scholarship Funds, and have the opportunity to win prizes in half time drawings. With more volunteers, we can provide this additional fun at even more locations! For the half time drawing, each person over 10 will be provided one ticket. You can donate to the Coloradans for Nebraska Scholarship Funds for additional tickets to the half time drawing. Letter from Scholarship Recipient Katie Painter Dear Coloradans for Nebraska, Thank you so much for granting me the CFN academic scholarship for the 2013-2014 UNL school year. I am so appreciative to have been selected as a recipient for the 4th time! As I think about beginning my senior year here in Lincoln, I cannot believe how fast these past few years have flown by. I will be living in my sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, for the third year and I will continue to be the VP of Facility Operations. I am extremely looking forward to Husker football season and absolutely cannot wait to attend every home game (I have to take advantage of my last year with student tickets!!!!). With that being said, look for my brother, Robby Painter #54, he walked-on the team last year as an offensive tackle and will be a Red-Shirt Freshman this year! Again, thank you so much for all of the money you donated to the scholarship fund, it really does help me achieve all of my academic and career goals! Go Big Red! Katie Painter |
How You Can Help Provide Scholarships Coloradans for Nebraska Scholarship Funds There are many ways that you can help provide scholarships to Colorado High School Graduates that want to or are attending the University of Nebraska. Together we can continue to fund over $40,000 each year in scholarships.
Some of these ways include:
- Become a Coloradans for Nebraska Member for $25 (membership runs from July to July) at a watch location staffed by volunteers or online today!

Husker Games on the Radio
Huskers will be on the Radio for 2013 - 1060 KRCN (formerly KLMO). There will be two hours of local "College Gameday" style show before joining the network for one hour of pregame. There will also be extended post game coverage as well.
Some games will also air on AM 1580 in Colorado Springs. Currently, the Huskers will be on for the Wyoming, Illinois, Minnesota and Iowa games. As more kick off times are announced, additional games may be added to the Colorado Springs Station.
