BONJOUR. CIAO. JAMBO. ALOHA.

Dear Jessica,

Summer is in full swing! Whether soaking up the sun or escaping the heat, JWT clients are everywhere from Iceland to Peru to the Maldives.

If you are looking to travel early 2023 for a winter or spring vacation – now is the time to get the ball rolling!

Read on for my top spring destination picks, a report of my latest trip to Portugal, and tips for traveling in a post-pandemic world.

Happy Travels!

JESSICA'S SPRING TRAVEL

As global travel restrictions are lifting,

travel is easier than it has been in years.

Here are my top 5 picks for Spring 2023 travel!

1.      The Maldives – no better time to do that bucket-list over-water bungalow in the exotic Maldives than when it is cold and dreary here in the US.

2.      Costa Rica – a fantastic spring break destination for nature encounters, adrenaline-pumping activity, and that perfect mix of jungle and beach time.

3.     Portugal and Spain – As the weather heats up but the crowds are still slim, spring is a great time to explore these great countries on the Iberian Peninsula.

4.     Riviera Maya, Mexico – for a beach getaway at a great price, it is hard to beat Riviera Maya. There are so many different styles of resorts to choose from for both family and couples getaways.

5.     Morocco – for those craving culture and adventure, Morocco is a gorgeous destination. Beat the heat in March and April to explore this one-of-a-kind country!

EXPLORING AND RELAXING IN PORTUGAL

Portugal is a small country jam-packed with rich culture, surprising beauty, delicious cuisine, friendly people and so much more.

Earlier this year I took my second trip to Portugal and it did not disappoint. From artisan workshops in Lisbon, to wine cruises down the Douro River, to beach getaways on the Algarve – this place has so much to offer so many styles of traveler – AND at a great value compared to many other European countries.

TRAVELING IN A NEW ERA

1

Plan Early

With this huge surge of travel and limited availability, planning last-minute getaways is harder than before.

Allow between 3-12 months advance planning based on the destination and your travel dates.

2

Plan the Details

Having your itinerary details lined up in advance is huge in a post-pandemic world.

Making sure we have secured activity, spa and dining reservations before you travel ensures things flow smoothly and you get to do everything you want to do.

3

Practice Patience

Travel is not the same in 2022 and it was in 2019, and everyone around the globe is adjusting.

We have incredible partners working to provide the best possible travel experience, but a little patience goes a long way as we are all adapting to this new era of travel!
