Campus Way Renamed for Chuck Feeney: UCSF will rename Campus Way, a primary thoroughfare on UCSF’s Mission Bay campus, in honor of longtime UCSF volunteer and philanthropist Chuck Feeney, who passed away in October. COVID-19 Vaccine Reminder: Help protect the UCSF community, our patients and the communities we serve by getting your COVID-19 vaccine. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends the COVID vaccine to anyone ages six months or older, and the San Francisco Department of Public Health has placed an emphasis on those working in health care. End-of-the-Year Shuttle Schedule: UCSF shuttle service will be modified starting Wednesday, Dec. 27 due to anticipated low ridership during the holidays. There will be no shuttle service on Monday, Dec. 25, Tuesday, Dec. 26, Friday, Dec. 29, and Monday, Jan. 1, 2024, and limited shuttle service from Wednesday, Dec. 27 to Thursday, Dec. 28. Holiday Library Hours: The Kalmanovitz Library at Parnassus Heights and FAMRI Library at Mission Bay will be closed on Friday, Dec. 22 at 6 p.m. and reopen to UCSF badge holders on Tuesday, Jan. 2 at 7:30 a.m. Access to online library resources will not be interrupted and services will be provided remotely. The Hearst Room at Parnassus Heights (student-only study space) and The Hub at Mission Bay remain accessible 24/7 during this period with a valid UCSF badge. See all library hours »
Badge Swap Stations Closing: Badge swap stations at Parnassus Heights and Mission Bay will be closing on Friday, Dec. 22. Limited appointments are still available at the Parnassus Heights station before its closure and all appointment slots for the Mission Bay station are booked until closing. This campaign was created to swap all old badges distinguished by a black stripe on the back to new, high frequency badges that will be compliant with badge readers at all UCSF sites. Phishing Emails Impersonating UCPath: Beware of new phishing email scams that are targeting UC employees by falsely impersonating UCPath. The fraudulent email includes the UC/UCPath logo and the subject line: “Update Your UCPath Account.” Learn more »

Illinois Street Garage Temporarily Closed: The garage at 590 Illinois St. at Mission Bay is closed through Sunday, Dec. 17. The closure is due to work related to the Block 34 clinical complex, scheduled for completion next summer. See other Mission Bay campus parking options »
