Dear friends,
In these uncertain times, our children – and our families – need you more than ever.
COVID-19 has brought unprecedented disruption, economic hardship, and heartache to the communities we serve, but Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida’s top priority has not changed: the health and safety of the children we serve.
To support public health, we have postponed our major fundraisers and closed all Club operations. We estimate at least a $1.2 million impact on our organization.
Simply put, our mission, our members, our families and our staff are in critical need of your continued generosity.
Here are three ways we would ask you to consider helping during this crisis:
We ask you to consider increasing your monthly pledge or contributing an additional stretch gift to our COVID-19 Mission Relief Fund, to ensure that we are able to continue serving 16,000 at-risk children when our Clubs reopen.
We have established a Family Discretionary Fund to help meet emergency expenses of Club families and part-time employees who have lost income due to the health crisis and economic downturn. We have already begun a grocery distribution plan to keep our Club families fed. Alternatively, consider mailing a grocery gift card for us to provide a Club family to: BGCCF, P.O. Box 2987, Orlando, FL 32802.
Help us spread the word in the community and with elected officials. We’re asking our advocates to reach out to their members of Congress to express support for a bill that will prioritize youth in coronavirus relief support. Please

As part of our BGCCF family, your safety and health are of utmost importance to us. Please take care.
Warmest Thoughts,
