TRAVEL SOUTHERN OREGON COAST NETWORK NEWS
TSOC WHISKEY RUN CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED

Travel Southern Oregon Coast is excited to share our campaign to promote Whiskey Run Mountain Bike Trails and the Southern Oregon Coast. This project and production have been in the works since last winter and will run through ad networks (online TV like Hulu, etc.), on YouTube, and in social media ads from Portland to Northern California for the coming 6 weeks targeted at the 2.5 million mountain bikers in the PNW.

We hope this campaign becomes the first in many that use this "niche+" model – celebrating a specific niche experience (in this case, mountain biking) while also highlighting other amazing activities on the South Coast.

We would love your help sharing the campaign and bringing more visitors to the South Coast. Download our easy-to-follow Toolkit campaign videos and social posts.
THE SPOT & LOP

In collaboration with the Trailkeepers of Oregon and the Wild Rivers Mushroom Festival, we bring you a special event on our journey to explore regenerative tourism opportunities on the Southern Oregon Coast. Participants will be greeted with a hard hat and wild mushroom recipes before embarking on an educational hike from House Rock in the Samuel Boardman Scenic Corridor. The Trailkeepers South Coast Coordinator will lead participants in light trail brushing interspersed with wild fungi identification from Wild Rivers Mushroom Club legend, Kathleen Dickson.

Through this event, TSOC hopes to support and promote stewardship, increase awareness of Trailkeepers of Oregon, participate in their South Coast events, and collaborate with the local Wild Rivers Mushroom Festival. Join us on November 3rd!
GORSE PEDAL & PULL

Anders Hansen, Coos Watershed Association's Plants Restoration Technician, has been working hard to plan an enjoyable mountain biking adventure/invasive species removal event. Please join the event and help spread the word! The plan is to have teams of four “compete” in the event. Solo participants can be connected with a team if needed. Participants must pre-register using the link below.
