The 2023 Wisconsin Tech Summit will take place March 20th, 2023 at Lambeau Field. The Tech Summit is built around a series of brief meetings, or “speed dates,” to foster communication and partnership between emerging companies and major firms.

A series of “Office Hours” will run throughout the day to address topics of interest to emerging companies and entrepreneurs in Wisconsin. Barb LaMue, New North and Elizabeth Thelen, Whitewater University Innovation Center will host "How businesses can engage with regional resources." Attendees will learn how to tap into the resources of public and private networks to help your business grow.

During the Tech Council Innovation Network luncheon at the Whitewater University Innovation Center, the state of angel and venture capital investment in Wisconsin and southeast Wisconsin’s Whitewater region was examined. Thank you to all those who attended and hosted this event!

Three students, who are in fourth through eighth grades, represented the Cooperative Educational Service Agency (CESA) 2 in the Badger State Spelling Bee, which was held March 11, 2023 at the Madison Youth Arts Center.

The Spring 2023 Warhawk Business Plan Competition is scheduled for April 12th from 5:15 pm to 7:15 pm at the Whitewater University Innovation Center. Students of all majors will compete for the following prizes:

• 1st Place - $1,250 Tuition Credit
• 2nd Place - $1,000 Tuition Credit
• 3rd Place - $750 Tuition Credit
